Ki'sa

Wel, my draws are not great but I do my best; I'm not an expert using photoshop and that stuff either.

Anyway, this is a concept of an alien race that is in the main plot of a story I'm working on.

The Ki'sa are an insect like alien race from the planet Rakkuuna (Epsilon Eridani B) that has a turbulent relation with the humans.

They have a technological development as of 2140 (human calendar; current date 2190).
2.5 meters (8'2") average.
110 kgs (240 lbs) average.
The live between 70 to 80 solar years.
Their low-light home planet make them to evolve an stunted sight, they see ultraviolet.
When they talk, they use a series of basic "audible" words and a very complex system of infra sounds that give sense to the words.
As 21st century humans, they are still divided into many ethnies, mainly. The principal are the Tomb'eyū, Āln'as, Nguka, Zack'ee and Zee'kukslā.
They have formed a Confederacy very unstable until human contact (where they had an even greater threat than themselves).
They are organized into clans and tribes attached to strong kinship governed as a meritocracy; though, throughout their history some nations with pseudo democratic systems and monarchies have emerged and fallen.
Some 329 tribes and clans have been identified so far (there is no clear division between an independent clan or one that belongs to a tribe).

First contact was in 2154 through an unmanned human probe that was investigating the system.

in 2185 conflict erupted between the two factions due to human ambitions on Epsilon Eridani's resources.
